Sasara, Gero

I had an amazing experience at the beautiful open bath (hot spring). The ambiance was serene, and the view was stunning. I soaked in the water and felt all my stress melt away. It was definitely a highlight of my stay! The artistic decor around the bath area added to the relaxing atmosphere.

The meals at Sasara were simply fantastic! Both breakfast and dinner featured deliciously prepared dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the kaiseki dinner with famous Hida Beef. Each dish was beautifully presented and flavorful, making it a culinary delight!

My room was just wonderful, spacious, and with a traditional Japanese wooden design. There was a lovely little dressing room that added to the comfort, and I appreciated how the staff transformed the seating area into futons while I was at dinner. It created a truly cozy environment for relaxation.

I loved having access to a private onsen in my room. It was very relaxing, and I enjoyed soaking in the warm water while watching the winter fireworks display from my window. The fully automated toilet was a quirky yet pleasant surprise, making my stay even more enjoyable!
